Got out on the road at 6:50 this morning because the babies came over at 8:00. I love early morning runs, but I have to prepare my mind the night before because in the morning it is too easy to talk myself out of it. I made myself turn off the light at 11:00. I am a night owl and I will stay up all night if I get involved in something. It's the getting up that's hard. Once I'm up and out the door, things are great!! This morning it was just getting light. The ground was icy, but I loved the feeling of the brisk breeze on my face and the look of the farm fields covered by the last snow of the year (I hope). I am on the third week of the C25K. You're supposed to let a day go by in between, but I love getting out there so I will repeat the days for the rest of the week.


Sunday, March 20, 2011 - Happy First Day of Spring

I weighed in at 231.4 this morning.  That's down 1 pound from last week. I am really wanting to hit that "below" 230 level.  I did my C25K this morning. It was really chilly, but it felt great to get out.  The deadend is still a bit messy, but not nearly as bad as it was last week.  Oh, and I found my HRM!!!!  But now I can't find the chest strap.  The one I used this morning didn't work.  I'm listening to an audio book by Pam Young at the moment.  I went to the deadend, back to Walter's woods, and home.    I am finished with week 2 of the C25K!
