The hardest time I have with this whole weight loss thing is night eating. It's like I think I may die in the night so I'd better get that ice cream in. I know it's stupid, but there it is. Nothing about this whole weight thing is sane. Just ask any "normal" person. If I could just conquer the night time, it would be so much easier.
I know the night snacking was just so natural for me...kettle corn and m&m's for me!
ReplyDeleteMonday night was the first night...I felt like something was missing...and it was the popcorn.
What could I stuff my mouth with?
I couldn't think of anything so I just sucked it up and had nothing!
I have been good this week...it is the weekend that I have to watch out for....especially since we are going to be snowed in!
I want my comfort food!
But lets be strong and cheer eachother on!
We can do this!!!
Thanks, Janene -
ReplyDeletesuck it up. That's exactly what I'm going to do tonight. It hasn't been the greatest day food wise, but it can be a good evening!
Thank you for the shoulder to lean on. I will keep you in mind this weekend and say a prayer for you.
Hugs,
Mary
For me, if dinner is late I cannot control my appetite, and I think it has something to do with protein. Perhaps switching around what you have at dinner or afternoon snack , such as including more protein or something sweet may help you win the battle with this.Perhaps it might be allowing yourself ice cream every night, but in an actual portion controlled amount(half a cup) and making sure it is one of the sugar free low fat ones. Or something like a cup of fat free yogurt mixed with a tablespoon of splenda, a tablespoon of cocoa powder and a tablespoon of oat bran. That is incredibly filling and satisfying for me .
ReplyDeleteGO TEAM ANGIE !!
Thanks so much for the tips. I may try them. For now I think I just may have to try not eating after dinner. It seems like just the act of eating makes me want to eat more. :(
