Sick as a dog

First order of business:

Today's weigh in 234.2. Not great. Not great at all

I woke up this morning feeling really bad. My throat hurts, my lungs hurt, my head hurts. Thankfully, I have a strong cantor singing at church this morning, because I have no voice whatsoever. To add insult to injury, it is absolutely gorgeous out there today.

Hopefully tomorrow I will be feeling better and able to get some kind of workout in that doesn't leave me wheezing and coughing.


  1. Hope you feel better soon ! There should be an automatic law that those in music ministry should be allowed to live life free of colds, respiratory infections or sinus attacks ! My husband has been experiencing a scratchy throat of late and I am about to move in with the big guns to herbally treat this before the onslaut of Holy Week .

  2. DOn't try to exercise until you are well. You body needs rest right now, and plenty of fluids. Part of living healthy is knowing when to say "Not now". Listen to the signals your body is telling you.

  3. I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. right now just focus on treating your body with plenty of TLC and allow it to recover at the rate it deems best.
